Freaking AMAZING!!!

So pretty much last night at the So You Think You Can Dance concert was like the best night EVER! They performed all of my favorite dances and they were even more amazing in person! Rather than talk about it, here are some pictures and video... Enjoy! :) p.s. most of the clips are really short because I was trying to save memory... I'll be posting more pics later when I have more time. :)

(For some reason these are the only videos I can upload. I'll keep trying though!)

Hilarious!

I laughed out loud, all by myself, in my dorm room, when I watched this. Just thought I'd share incase you hadn't seen it yet. Just click on the link below.

Independence!

I just got a flyer that says something about how BYU is all about dating and that I should buy a flower and put it in my right ear because I'm single. Left ear for everyone who is taken. Weird. Anyway, besides the men that look at your face then your left hand, BYU is a blast! I love my classes! I'm taking Italian, Book of Mormon, Archaeology, and Methodologies of Art History. It's a lot of work but it's worth it because I'm learning a heckuvalot. In my Italian class they speak purely Italian, so I think I'm picking it up pretty fast. I can understand all the basic stuff now. My Book of Mormon class is very enlightening. My Archaeology class is very interesting. I like how they can incorporate gospel principles into the lessons. We had a whole discussion on the theory of evolution and how long the world has been in existence for and all the stuff in class the other day. That was great because I had always been confused, but I think I'm beginning to understand. And my methodologies class is just plain HARD! But necessary for my major. I think it's the hardest class required for an art history major so at least I'm just getting it over with...that is if I can pass. There are parties every weekend and so many fun people I'm meeting and getting to know. I love being independent! It's scary at times but it's a great adventure, and I love adventure!

Part deux of a new life...

So I decided to add a few more pictures. I haven't had the time or energy to take any besides in my dorm yet really, so here are these. More are still to come. :)

This is my side of our little room. It's perfect. :)
This is our desk area.
Here is Vic in our kitchen. It is also perfect. :)
I absolutely love it here and I will keep you posted as time goes by!

It's a new life, for me, and I'm feelin' good. -Michael Buble :)

So it is the end of day 2 here at the B-Y-Zoo and thus far I am loving it. I have met some cool people, spent a bajillion dollars on books, decorated my way cute dorm, and witnessed a proposal (already...hmmm....). But it is way fun and I can't wait for classes to start! It will be fabulous. here are some pictures from my first two days...
We were graced with the presence of Jericho Road at our "Tradition of Honor" meeting/pimped out hello assembly. (It was at this occasion that a guy sang a song he wrote for his almost fiance and then popped the question right then and there...)
Mom helping me unpack and move in.
Me making a weird face at my desk in my room. :)
There will be more pictures to come. So stay tuned :P

Now that SYTYCD is over, it's time to find a new obsession...

AND I ALREADY HAVE! My new obsession came about after seeing one of the guest performances in the finale of SYTYCD: the cast of the new Cirque du Soleil show "Criss Angel: Believe." I'm so excited after this and I definitely will be making my way to Vegas once it opens. It is choreographed by Wade Robson, a freak of nature choreographer that is definitely one of my favorites, and inspired by the freak show of a magician, Criss Angel. And of course by the "freak" terms I mean totally and incredibly amazing. So here is the performance they did on SYTYCD that is the cause of my new obsession. Enjoy! And just as a warning, it might freak you out a bit, but remember, that's a good thing when it comes to Wade's choreography. :)

An Ode to Napolean and Tabitha...

Oh how I love them, with their crazy choreography, original stories they incorporate, the new and fresh moves... they rock. This post is all dances choreographed by them. Enjoy. :)

ABDC with Missy Elliott:

SYTYCD: Story line is that he is telling her he is going off to war the next day...

SYTYCD: Story is that he is a work-a-holic and she's sick of it...

SYTYCD: Story - jail break...

SYTYCD: Group number

It's been a while...

So, it's been forever since I last posted. So I thought I would do so today. I have missed a few weeks of posting for SYTYCD and now I have a few from America's Best Dance Crew that were sicky sick. These were the only online vids I could fine so just fast forward through the intros if you don't feel like watching them. Other than that, my life has been the same. Except I move in three weeks...weird... but exciting. I can't wait! :)

Yet another amazing Mia piece...

A sweet Napolean and Tabitha...

From ABDC: Fanny Pack, my fav crew. This was the Missy Elliott challenge, they had to recreate a Missy Elliott video...
